From the distant past
A breathtaking laser installation by artist Tim Otto Roth on Venice’s Palazzo Franchetti. While the scanning green laser might appear abstract, it is in fact based on Hubble observations of distant galaxies. In this time-lapse shot, the installation is viewed from the Academia Bridge, over the Grand Canal.
